The Park

Cavallino Matto is the largest amusement park in Tuscany, the greenest and most eco-friendly in Central Italy: immersed in greenery, it extends over an area of over 10 hectares , in the pine forest of Marina di Castagneto Carducci ; a range of emotions for everyone: from children to the most reckless adults. Among the most popular attractions we find Shocking Tower, Yukatan, Baia dei Bucanieri, Topo Zorro, Colorado Boat,   Canoe of Fables,   Safari Adventures, Project 1,   Rock'n Roll. Every year at the 4D Movie Stars cinema, incredible films are shown while   at the Palaverde exciting shows are staged. In the new area of the Park the original rollercoaster Stand Up: Freestyle, the only one in Europe, 32 meters high, 800 meters of track, 90 km of speed, 1 vertical loop, 2 camel jumps and the 45 degree vortex. In 2019 the new and extraordinary attraction Jurassic River was opened, the track occupies a surface of 5 thousand square meters, extends for 600 meters with two climbs/descents of 13 meters, of which 1 camelback, 10 log-type gondolas and a descent speed of 15 meters per second. The dense Jurassic jungle is populated by 30 Dino-animatronics,   The Jurassic River is part of a themed area entirely dedicated to dinosaurs, which includes   Jeep Rex   a small Jurassic-style flying house, Raptor Ship, a swinging ship attacked by T. Rex and the Jurassic River School educational space. The Flying Swinger was also inaugurated in 2019, an exciting ride, with an extra gear... it tilts frighteningly, allowing you to reach heights and speeds that will make you scream with excitement! New for 2021 is the “Fantasy Arena” Show Area with the new CrasyHorse mascot show, the new “Minigolf” completely renovated and themed. How to reach Cavallino Matto

Address : The Cavallino Matto amusement park is located in Marina di Castagneto Carducci, in the province of Livorno, Tuscany.

By car:

• From the North: Take the A12 motorway and exit at Rosignano Marittimo. Continue on the SS1 Aurelia towards Grosseto and take the Donoratico exit.
• From the South: Take the A12 motorway and exit at Civitavecchia, continue on the SS1 Aurelia towards Livorno and take the Donoratico exit.

By Train:

• Take a train to Castagneto Carducci-Donoratico station. From the station, the park is a few minutes by taxi or bus.

By Bus:

• There are local buses that connect Marina di Castagneto Carducci with the surrounding towns. Check the timetables and stops with the local transport companies.

Cavallino Matto 2025 Schedule and Calendar

• From April 5th to June 8th 2025: the park will be open on weekends and holidays with opening hours from 10:30 to 18:30.
• From June 11th to September 14th: the park will be open every day, always from 10:30 to 18:30.
• From September 20th to November 2nd: the park will be open again on weekends and holidays, maintaining the opening hours from 10:30 to 18:30.
• The season will end on November 2, 2025.
• In 2025 the park will have special opening hours from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm and from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm
