Comacchio Valleys: nature excursion to the Boscoforte peninsula.
Among wild horses and lagoon landscapes.
Why you should buy your ticket on Pass4Fun.
Highlights
In the heart of the Comacchio Valleys , a walking excursion will lead you to discover the Boscoforte Peninsula —an ancient sandy strip formed in Etruscan times and preserved thanks to years of limited public access.
The coexistence of fresh and brackish water has created an extraordinary variety of habitats, including reed beds, glasswort marshes, salt marshes, sandy hummocks, and canals. During the excursion, equipped with binoculars and accompanied by our expert guides, you will be able to recognize the different species that inhabit this area and, with a little luck, spot the Camargue-Delta horses that have lived free in the wild on this strip of land for many years.
