Description

Depending on the option selected , we will begin the tour outside Casa Batlló , whose imposing facade will leave you breathless.
The undulating balconies and vibrant colors of Antoni Gaudí 's modernist architecture will remind you of the sea. Once inside Casa Batlló, we'll delve into the mind of Antoni Gaudí, arguably Barcelona's most important architect. Wandering through the house's various rooms, we'll discover how the Batlló family lived in the early 20th century. We'll cross the main floor, where the large living room offers unique views of Passeig de Gràcia. We'll pass through the main dining room and the modernist courtyard. We'll reach the dragon roof through the interior courtyard, where the color blue dominates and where, looking through the glass windows, you'll feel like you're underwater. On the roof, we'll admire the chimneys, for which Gaudí meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail, using his signature technique, trencadís. A dragon is also hiding on this roof: can you find it? In this incredible space of Casa Batlló, you'll have some time to take photos and enjoy the views . At the end of the visit, if you've chosen this option, we'll head to Casa Milà, popularly known as La Pedrera , where we'll begin a guided tour to discover its imposing stone façade . The undulations of the façade, combined with the wrought-iron railings, will remind you of a seabed full of algae. We'll have the opportunity to visit the neighbors' apartment, which will be like a journey back in time. Your guide will explain how a bourgeois family lived in the early 20th century , as the house is completely furnished with period furniture. Notice every detail: Gaudí even designed the door handles. Discover Casa Milà's two internal courtyards : the " Patio de las Flores ," richly decorated with frescoes, and the " Patio de las Mariposas ," where a butterfly is perfectly depicted. Walk through the impressive attic , known as the " Whale Attic " for its shape, which gives you the feeling of entering the interior of a large living being. Made up of over 270 catenary arches, it will remind you of the skeleton of a whale. Let's not forget the Roof of the Warriors, from which you can enjoy a splendid 360° view of Barcelona . This roof's name comes from the chimneys, which represent the warriors and guardians of Casa Milà. At the end of the guided tour of Casa Milà or Casa Batlló, if you have chosen this option, you will head to Casa Vicens , Gaudí's first masterpiece and an icon of Modernism. Explore this fascinating building at your own pace, accompanied by an audio guide that will reveal all the secrets and details of its architecture and decoration. Conclude your visit to Gaudí's most emblematic houses by enjoying a glass of cava in an exclusive atmosphere.
