Description
The Zoo of Abruzzo is a faunal exhibit with a pedestrian path, which hosts both native and exotic animals. With the coast of the trabocchi on one side, and the Sanctuary of the Eucharistic Miracle on the other, the Zoo of Abruzzo becomes a must for spending a day full of adventure and fun thanks to live shows, and where to live a direct relationship with the Animal Kingdom thanks to the many educational activities proposed. The entrance ticket includes the free visit to the park throughout the day, the vision of all the shows in the program and the use of the new picnic area born under a forest of oaks and olive trees. The park is enriched by a large free parking area, a self-service restaurant with a dedicated area and bar service.

Nowadays the zoo is no longer just the place where animals can be observed, in some cases even very rare, but it assumes extreme importance in the dissemination of information on issues related to the conservation of biodiversity and strategies to protect the environment. ZooEDUCATION an educational project, aimed at adults and children, which plays a fundamental role in the life of the park. With the collaboration of our animal friends, thanks to the educational staff it will be possible, with a completely new language based on learning by doing, to enter more deeply into the fantastic world of nature. For this reason, the park offers an educational program aimed at both the school world and visitors who come to our reality every day.
How to get to the Zoo of Abruzzo?
By car: the park located 800 meters from the Lanciano exit of the A-14 (Autostrada Adriatica) in Contrada Scalzino (Rocca San Giovanni).
