Summer isn't summer without Aquafan ! Riccione's Aquafan, a hit for 29 summers, is the Riviera's most famous water park in Europe, thanks to its spectacular water features, countless events, and its continued popularity as a trendy and fashionable destination.
Aquafan in Riccione is the most famous water park in Europe, thanks to its spectacular water games , countless events and its ability to still be a fashionable and trendy place today.
The 70,000 square meters it opened in 1987 have grown to over 90,000, with ever-changing attractions. During the day, fun is guaranteed with the fantastic slides , over 3 km long in total: from the Kamikaze to the Extreme River, from the Speedriul to the River Run, from Surfin'hill to the Twist and the Tobogas. All the way to StrizzaCOOL: the family-friendly attraction that allows three to four people to ride on a raft at a time. It offers two rides in one: an adrenaline-filled descent, and a gentler one, with curves and tunnels, like a rafting experience. Aquafan has always paid particular attention to its wildest guests.
The park has three children's areas , with three swimming pools equipped with slides, where the maximum water depth is 50 cm.
The most important is the Focus Junior Beach . Here, you'll find Noah's Ark, where children can venture to the top and slide down into the pool opposite, down four blue slides (three open and one enclosed), all under the amused gaze of the many animals that inhabit and surround the Ark.

Just a few meters from the Focus Junior Beach is the Elephant Pool , perfect for the very young. Children can reach the three mini white slides that emerge from the belly of the pink elephant via a wooden bridge designed especially for them.

The other area designed specifically for children is Antarctic Beach , a pool for playing and having fun just like at the South Pole, sliding, but without the ice! It's guarded by a large polar bear who good-naturedly watches over his little friends as they enjoy safely sliding down two parallel mini slides, each about 3 meters long.
But the park's little guests can also access the Lazy River, the Poseidon, the Wave Pool and the Surfing Hill.

How to get to Aquafan

BY CAR

Arriving from outside the city, it is advisable to use the motorway directly or the Adriatic s.s.16.
To get to the park from the beach of Riccione, just follow the signs for the A14 or the many signs of Aquafan.

ON THE TRAIN

Descend to Riccione or Rimini if the train does not make other stops.
From Riccione station take line 58 which leads directly to the park.
From Rimini station take line 11L to the terminus and from there take line 58.

BY BUS

From Riccione: from Riccione station take line 58 which leads directly to the park.
From Rimini: from Rimini station take line 11 to the terminus with piazzale Curiel and then change to line 58.
From Cattolica / Misano:bus TRAM n.125; at the terminus of Riccione p.le Curiel coincidences with n. 58.

Aquafan Opening Hours 2026

The Aquafan water park is open every day from 1 June to 6 September 2026 and the opening hours are from 10.00 to 18.30.

From September 7th to 13th, the management reserves the right to decide on a possible extension based on weather conditions.

SWIMMING POOL

the large pool of the park, extends over an area of 2,800 square meters and reaches in its point deeper than 3 meters of height, with a capacity of 3,300 cubic meters of water.
The moment of the waves announced by the sound of the bell, which every hour attracts guests in the large swimming pool for what over the years has become one of Aquafan's unmissable events.
But the Wave Pool also features the real 'piazza' of Aquafan, where the main events take place and some of the many daily park animations.

Extreme River: ''When you see it from below, you can't believe that there is someone who wants to get off the lass. "Extreme a ramp from which you go down with a 2-seat dinghy.
Slide allowed only over 12 years and 1.40 meters high.

Strizzacool:It is the biggest attraction of Aquafan. a double slide: the blue one includes various curves and the entrance into a tunnel, the white one goes straight to splinter. It descends in 3/4 people from special rubber dinghies that are found on arrival, brought up by a giant treadmill.
Slide allowed even for children from 1m to 1.40 m in height only if accompanied by an adult.

Speedriul:From the Speedriul, you descend in two with a rubber boat from the same ramp as the Extreme River only 5 meters higher. The descent divided into 3 parts: at first you enter a closed pipe, then enter at full speed inside of the funnel, after a few turns, you exit into a new tunnel downhill that leads to the finish! Slide allowed only over 12 years and 1.40 meters high.

Twist:Among the most adrenaline-filled attractions of Aquafan, the Twist is a descent into 3 spiral-twisted conduits. It slips flooded with splashes of water, for a length of over 100 meters. the only one in Italy with 3 tracks.

River Run: From one of the snakes of the Scivoli Alti, you go down with a rubber boat. The effect is to ride a beautiful stream in flood, 200 meters long. If you find that drafting in your veins, then you are ready for the Rapid River.

High Slides: The Scivoli Alti were the first to be mounted in Aquafan, back in 1987. They are 3 amusing, tall (25 meters) and long snakes: each descent runs over 200 meters not bad for those who want to start settling in adrenaline that reserve the other more "aggressive" attractions of the Park.

Surfing Hill:6-lane soft descent, from which you descend with a dinghy.
The attraction, 110 meters long and surrounded by greenery, was created for the enjoyment of everyone, adults and children.

Rapid River: sfrom the Aquafan Rapido, how to experience the adventure of taming the rapids of a river. You go down on a rubber dinghy individually, but the surprise that you will find good traffic in that river. Along the 220 meters of the attraction surrounded by greenery and in the rocks there are 6 pools of water that first stop you, and then you start again in speed.

Slow River:a real slow river to travel by raft, through a tropical path characterized by greenery and a suggestive waterfall.

Kamikazze:Inaugurated in 1991 by Alberto Tomba (then world ski champion), the kamikaze immediately represented the test of fire for visitors to the Park. From its 2 tracks, each 90 meters long, it drops to almost 70 km / h. A special stopwatch indicates the descent time and a siren signals the fastest descent.

CHILDREN'S GAMES

The Pink Elephant:Even the smallest children (up to 1.40 m tall) can have fun in Aquafan, and in complete safety ... Where? But in the elephant pool, of course, it is also suitable for 3 or 4 year old children. This is because the maximum water height barely reaches 60 cm. Children can reach the three mini white slides that "emerge" from the belly of the pink elephant through a wooden bridge designed specifically for them. And go!

Focus Junior Beach:At the center of Focus Junior Beach is the Ark of No, for fun and exciting adventures. From the top of the Arcai children can venture up to the 800 square meter pool, through the 4 blue slides (3 open and 1 closed), all under the amused gaze of the many animals that live and surround the Ark, first among all the great camel that acts as guardian at his entrance.

Antartic Baby Beach:Everyone at the Antarctic baby beach, to play and have fun like at the South Pole, but without ice! Poseidon:At Poseidon, a favorite destination for Aquafan's VIPs, but also for those who want to enjoy the sun and rest, three small lakes communicating with each other by means of small waterfalls form enormous pools with hydromassage. The lagoons occupy a total area of 1,000 square meters.

Spraying:Positioned along the main avenue, the nebulisers release the vaporized water, creating a pleasant mist that gives coolness to passers-by. Ideal on hot days, when the thermometer exceeds 30 degrees.
