Highlights

Begin your experience with priority entrance to the Uffizi Gallery, one of the world's most famous art collections and a treasure trove of Renaissance art . Admire immortal paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli , Michelangelo , and many other masters, enjoying two hours of early access to explore masterpieces like the Birth of Venus and the Annunciation at your leisure.

In addition to its famous paintings, the Gallery also houses an extraordinary legacy of ancient sculptures: an archaeological collection dating back to the Medici, now enhanced thanks to a recent exhibition. After the reconstruction of the Hall of Ancient Marbles on the second floor, the Uffizi is taking a further step forward: under the motto "Future in Antiquity," the Gallery reaffirms its vocation to dialogue with Rome's greatest collections, such as the Capitoline Museums .

After this immersion in pictorial and sculptural masterpieces, the visit continues with a unique experience: exclusive access to the Vasari Corridor . This celebrated elevated walkway, designed by Giorgio Vasari at the behest of Cosimo I de' Medici, runs through the heart of Florence , connecting Palazzo Vecchio , the Uffizi , Ponte Vecchio , and Palazzo Pitti . But what makes the Corridor even more precious today is the return of over fifty Roman busts, masterpieces of imperial-era portraiture, long held in storage.

Intellectuals like Cicero, emperors like Augustus , Antoninus Pius, and Commodus , empresses like Sabina and Faustina: a veritable pantheon of figures that, thanks to the restoration work commissioned in the 18th century by historian Luigi Lanzi , embellishes the stretch of bridge that crosses the Ponte Vecchio . These sculptures, carefully selected from the antiques market to complement the grand ducal collection, were removed in 1993 to restore their original 18th-century layout. Today, they are finally accessible again, restored to an evocative setting that restores to visitors the magnificence of an itinerary worthy of the greatest European courts.

Strolling through the Vasari Corridor means not only retracing a secret passageway that guarded the secrets and power of the Medici , but also rediscovering one of the most important collections of Roman portraiture in a context that enhances its scenographic impact. With our multilingual Audio Apps , curated by art historians, you can delve deeper into every detail as you explore these iconic spaces at your own pace .

Book your experience today and enjoy an exclusive itinerary, among the great Renaissance masters and the imperial busts that tell centuries of history. Florence has never been so close!
