Warner Beach Park to Open Two New Water Attractions This Summer

Madrid, April 6, 2022. On April 6, 20 years ago, Warner Park opened its doors to the public to offer its visitors the best cinematic experiences. Since 2002, the capital's first theme park, part of the Parques Reunidos group, has established itself as a destination for thousands of tourists and visitors to the Community of Madrid who enjoy the best attractions, shows, themed areas, performances, and family activities.
After two decades of operation at one of Spain's leading leisure and entertainment parks, Parque Warner will offer its visitors a special program throughout 2022.
The arrival of new characters from classic and contemporary films will form a large animated cast alongside Looney Tunes, Superheroes, and members of the Hanna-Barbera factory. Audiences will be able to meet the charming Gizmo from "Gremlins," the duo Neo and Trinity from "The Matrix," or the popular characters from the classic "The Wizard of Oz," such as Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion.

Central Perk in Madrid
One of the highlights of Parque Warner's 20th anniversary is the recreation of one of the most iconic locations from the "Friends" series, the "Central Perk" coffee shop. Visitors to Parque Warner will be able to step into New York and visit this special set, where they can take photos, take home original souvenir merchandise, and feel like they're the stars of one of the most successful television series of all time.

Mural dedicated to Tweety
While cinema is one of Warner Park's emblematic features, art and culture also make it one of its most important assets. To celebrate the 80th birthday—in this case, of Tweety, one of the most beloved Looney Tunes characters—Warner Park was one of the parks chosen to participate in a Warner Media art project in which several parks around the world will dedicate a mural to this pop culture icon. Artist and graffiti artist Nicolás Romero will bring Tweety to life in a large mural located in the park's Cartoon Village area. Over several days, the Argentine illustrator will paint a large mural live so that all visitors can enjoy the creative process and completion of this very special work, which will become part of the park's permanent decoration.

Furthermore, the 20th anniversary program will include the musical show 'Dreamers', a work currently in development that tours the greatest musical hits of all time, as well as several surprising street entertainments such as the "Looney Tunes" welcome, the "SuperStar Parade", the "Steampunk" show and the meet-and-greet with the most beloved superheroes.

20 years of exciting attractions
During Parque Warner's 20-year history, the theme park has offered the most thrilling and adrenaline-filled experiences through attractions located in four themed zones spread across Hollywood Boulevard, Movie World Studios, Cartoon Village, Superheroes World, and Old West.Territory.

The most popular attractions among young audiences, such as the Superman roller coaster, Stunt Fall, Batman, and La Venganza del Enigma, and the refreshing Rio Bravo and Wild Falls, will continue to be some of their favorite experiences. Children's attractions for the little ones, such as Scooby-Doo and the Tom and Jerry roller coaster, along with the character homes, are among the most popular attractions for families visiting the theme park.

Additionally, another of this year's most anticipated new features will be the arrival of two new and exciting water attractions at Parque Warner Beach, the independent park offering the best summer experiences with fun slides, a beach with hammocks, wave pools, and children's areas. And for Halloween, one of the most anticipated seasons for visitors, the park will also premiere the new horror film IT; a terrifying experience for the bravest.

All these attractions will share the spotlight with a new roller coaster due for release in 2023. This spectacular new attraction is currently in the first phase of construction. Next year, Parque Warner Madrid is expected to offer an innovative and surprising experience for all visitors.
