Important notes:
- Windsor Castle is closed on December 26th: a walking tour of Windsor town is planned for this day.
- St. George's Chapel closes at 4:00 PM. We recommend making it your first stop upon arrival. The chapel is also closed to the public on Sundays, but worshippers are welcome to attend religious services.
- Show your e-ticket to access the tour.
- This tour does not include a guide and the visit inside the castle will last approximately 2 hours.
- During peak periods, additional vehicles without Wi-Fi may be used.
- Our vehicles are modern, comfortable, and sanitized daily.
- Infants (0-2 years): Free, must sit on a parent/guardian's lap. If you require a dedicated seat, purchase a child ticket. Car seats are not provided.
Closures and important information:
- Windsor Castle:
As a royal residence still in use, Windsor Castle is subject to sudden closures, either of the entire castle or just the State Apartments , at short notice.
When the State Apartments are closed, the Precincts and the Drawings Gallery can still be visited.Closed every Tuesday and Wednesday
Semi-State Rooms: During the winter months, the visitor trail includes five additional rooms, known as Semi-State Rooms.
Closed from December 24th to 26th
When the State Apartments are not accessible, the Drawings Gallery and Precincts remain open to visitors.

St. George's Chapel closes at 4:00 PM. It's recommended to visit it among the first attractions upon arrival. The chapel is also closed to visitors on Sundays, but worshippers may attend religious services.

Saturday, September 20: Early closing at 1:00 PM
Tuesday, September 23: Closed to the public
Please note: Visitors entering the castle on Sunday will not be able to enter the chapel or visit the burial place of Queen Elizabeth II.

Directions from Victoria Station:
- Exit via the Buckingham Palace Road entrance, next to the Gatwick Express platforms.
- Turn left and continue along Buckingham Palace Road until the first major junction.
- Cross the road at the traffic lights when it is safe to do so and turn left.
- Continue for approximately 20 metres, then turn right into Bulleid Way.
⚠️ The bus does not depart from Victoria Bus Station.
Return point:
Due to legal restrictions on our drivers' working hours, the tour ends a 2-3 minute walk from Gloucester Road Underground Station.
