Windsor Castle
It's incredible to think that the majestic Windsor Castle is still a working royal residence today. A visit to this magnificent fortress will reveal why it was Queen Elizabeth II's favorite weekend retreat! Situated along the River Thames and near the picturesque town of Windsor, the castle has dominated the landscape for nearly a millennium. Here you can step into the exquisite State Apartments, inhabited by 39 sovereigns since its founding, and admire priceless masterpieces by artists such as Leonardo da Vinci and Rembrandt. Don't miss the splendid St. George's Chapel, the site of famous royal weddings and the final resting place of numerous monarchs, including Elizabeth II herself and the legendary Henry VIII.
Stonehenge
As you approach Salisbury Plain, you'll glimpse the mysterious Stonehenge complex and walk alongside these ancient stones dating back 5,000 years. Perfectly nestled in the surrounding landscape, the site has fueled speculation and theories for centuries. During your visit, you'll discover fascinating explanations of its origins and be able to formulate your own interpretation of this prehistoric enigma. Complete your experience with the exhibition displaying over 250 archaeological finds.
Oxford Walking Tour
Be enchanted by Oxford's characteristic cobbled streets and soak up the authentic atmosphere of this historic university city. During the guided walk, you'll visit the elegant courtyards of the various colleges, including the famous Christ Church, known to Harry Potter fans for some of the film's scenes. Your guide will also accompany you to the renowned 17th-century Bodleian Library, a treasure trove of knowledge and literature. Finally, you'll admire Oxford University, the oldest in the English-speaking world, which has educated illustrious figures such as T.S. Eliot, Hugh Grant, and Bill Clinton.
