The park

The Cavallino Matto is the large Amusement Park in Tuscany, the greenest and most eco-friendly in Central Italy: surrounded by greenery, it extends over an area of over 10 hectares , in the pine forest of Marina di Castagneto Carducci ; a range of emotions for everyone: from children to the most reckless adults. Among the most popular attractions we find Shocking Tower, Yukatan, Buccaneer Bay, Topo Zorro, Colorado Boat,   Fairytale Canoe,   Safari Adventures, Project 1,   Rock'n Roll. Every year incredible films are shown at the 4D Movie Stars cinema while   Exciting shows are staged at the Palaverde. In the new area of the Park the original Stand Up rollercoaster: Freestyle, the only one in Europe, 32 meters high, 800 meters of route, 90 km of speed, 1 vertical loop, 2 camel jumps and the 45 degree vortex. The new and extraordinary Jurassic River attraction was opened in 2019, the route occupies an area of 5 thousand square meters, extends for 600 meters with two ascents/descents of 13 meters, of which 1 camelback, 10 log-type gondolas and a speed of descent of 15 meters per second. The dense Jurassic jungle is populated by 30 Dino-animatronics,   the Jurassic River is part of a thematic area entirely dedicated to dinosaurs, which includes   Jeep Rex   a small Jurassic-style flying house, Raptor Ship, a swinging ship attacked by T. Rexes and the Jurassic River School educational space. The Flying Swinger was also inaugurated in 2019, an exciting ride, with an edge... it tilts frighteningly, allowing you to reach heights and speeds that will make you scream with emotion! New for 2021 is the "Fantasy Arena" Show Area with the new CrasyHorse mascot show, the new completely renovated and themed "Minigolf". There is no shortage of services - catering, pizzeria, self-service, bar, ice cream parlor, yogurt shop and souvenir area. An amusement park with more than thirty attractions for all ages, shows, fun for the whole family.

How to reach Cavallino Matto

Address : The Cavallino Matto amusement park is located in Marina di Castagneto Carducci, in the province of Livorno, Tuscany.

By car:

• From the North: Take the A12 motorway and exit at Rosignano Marittimo. Continue on the SS1 Aurelia towards Grosseto and take the Donoratico exit.
• From the South: Take the A12 motorway and exit at Civitavecchia, continue on the SS1 Aurelia towards Livorno and take the Donoratico exit.

On the train:

• Take a train to Castagneto Carducci-Donoratico station. From the station, the park is a few minutes by taxi or bus.

By Bus:

• There are local buses that connect Marina di Castagneto Carducci with the surrounding cities. Check timetables and stops with local transport companies.

Cavallino Matto timetables and calendar

• From 30 March to 12 June: the park will be open on weekends and public holidays with opening hours from 10.30am to 6.30pm.
• From 13 June to 15 September: the park will be open every day, always from 10.30am to 6.30pm.
• From 16 September to 3 November: the park returns to opening on weekends and holidays, maintaining opening hours from 10.30am to 6.30pm.
• The season will conclude on November 3, 2024.
