What's it like to feel nothing? Many of us don't really know. At Dialogue in Silence, you can experience what it's like to rely on non-verbal communication, like so many around the world. Don a pair of noise-cancelling headphones and move through a series of soundproofed exhibition rooms, where deaf guides introduce you to a variety of situations they experience every day. Learn to speak with your hands and hear with your eyes - this is a brilliant way to break down barriers between the world of the deaf and yours.
The visit to the Dialog Lab is part of the dark experience and is the perfect complement! Consider the question: What situations have you ever felt "excluded" from? Isn't inclusion an issue that concerns us all? Meet seven different people with seven different disabilities - via video and audio! Through seven stations, discover how barriers affect our daily lives. Make suggestions, experiment with ideas or become the editor-in-chief of UTOPIA, the barrier-free world of tomorrow.
