Visit Edge NYC for an all-new immersive journey to NYC’s highest outdoor observation deck.
Begin your visit on Level 4 of Hudson Yards and explore seven interactive installations inspired by the energy of New York City.
The immersive spaces include NYC’s largest Kaleidoscope, the Pulse Infinity Room with 400+ motion-responsive orbs, Reflections with 260+ spinning mirrors, and Crystal Cave, a 23-foot canopy of light-responsive crystals.
Then head outside to enjoy 360° views of Manhattan and landmarks such as Central Park and the Statue of Liberty from more than 1,100 ft (338 m) above the city.
For a new perspective, step onto the glass floor and look down at the streets below through angled glass walls. Edge also features the Skyline Bar & Café from Tao Hospitality, where drinks and light snacks are available for purchase.
Visit during the day, at sunset, or in the evening to experience New York City from above.

What is there to know?
- Bikes, scooters, and skateboards are not allowed
- Fold strollers when using lifts and escalators
- Only service animals are allowed
- Standard-size bags only; no storage available. All bags may be inspected
- Outside food and drinks are not allowed, except sealed bottled water
- Morning and early afternoon visits are usually less crowded; sunset is the busiest time
- No matter the weather, enjoy immersive indoor installations and 360° views
- Most visits last 45–60 minutes
- Walk across the Glass Floor, or simply see New York stretch out before you
- Photography for personal use is allowed; tripods and professional equipment are not permitted
- Show your Edge NYC tickets at the main entrance (Level 4, The Shops & Restaurants)
- Make sure to arrive on time for your selected timeslot
- Special rates for NYC residents and US military available directly with the venue
- Children aged 0–5: free; no ticket needed
- Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
Openings
Edge NYC is open every day of the year, including holidays.
Hours may vary depending on the season and special events.
Access is available from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm, with last entry approximately one hour before closing.
In high season, opening hours may extend until midnight, while in low season, opening hours may start at 9:00 or 10:00 and close at 21:00 or 22:00.

Safety regulations
Not allowed:
- bikes, scooters, skateboards
- You may not bring food or drinks with you, except for bottled water in a closed container.
- You can only take photos for private use, tripods, lights and other professional tools are prohibited.
Strollers: You must fold them when riding elevators and escalators.
Allowed:
- full-sized backpacks/bags only;
- Only guide dogs allowed
There are no storage areas; bag searches may be carried out.
