Visitors may bring backpacks and soft coolers into the complex. Food and drinks packaged in small soft coolers are permitted. Glass bottles or containers are not permitted. Beer is for sale at select locations and no outside alcoholic beverages are permitted. For security reasons, all bags are subject to search.
If your scheduled date becomes a launch date, please contact us, as regular packages may not be permitted (depending on launch).

Description
After leaving Central Florida, your Gray Line tour guide will provide you with many tips and tricks to ensure you make the most of your time at the visitor center. They will escort you inside and make sure your day is planned so you can independently explore the space center!
At the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex you will learn all about space travel.
Enjoy the Shuttle launch experience. It reproduces the sights, sounds and sensations of a shuttle launch, an incredible journey of launching into space and orbiting the Earth aboard a Space Shuttle. Guest crew members strap in and go vertical for the launch in a one-of-a-kind motion-based simulator, the only realistic simulation of a launch ever created. The 5-minute experience sequence culminates with a breathtaking view of Earth.
You can also take part in a narrated NASA bus tour inside the facility. At the Apollo Saturn V Center, you'll find yourself in the launch control room and look at a real Saturn V rocket: the largest rocket ever flown! After the bus tour, sit back and enjoy an IMAX movie.
Why not choose to walk on a scale space shuttle, look at a moon rock or try space ice cream? This is a day of fun for the whole family!
