NAPLES, POMPEII & VESUVIUS

Pick up at the hotel at 8.15 am and guided tour of approximately 2 hours with stops at the Duomo to visit the Treasure Chapel and the Basilica of Santa Restituta.
Reach the Town Hall square where the New Castle built by the French Angevin family is located and continue towards the
Posillipo area and stop on the terrace of the church of Sant'Antonio to get the best view of the city and the bay.
Return to the city center in Piazza Plebiscito to see the facade of the Royal Palace, the beautiful church of San Francesco di Paola in neoclassical style, the Umberto I Gallery and the San Carlo theatre.
At the end of the visit, departure for Pompeii where the tour guide will show the most fascinating places such as the Forum, the Baths, the house of the Vetti and the "Lupanare" burned by volcanic ash and lapilli during the eruption of 79 AD Lunch including pizza and drink.
Transfer to Torre del Greco passing through the Vesuvius National Park up to 1,000 m. From the slope of the car park to the top of the only still active volcano in continental Europe.
Walk around the crater at 1,200 meters to see the enchanting Bay of Naples from the eastern to the western side. Return to Naples and return to the hotel around 5:00 pm.
