After Pompeii, climb Mount Vesuvius and stop at a local restaurant located in a scenic spot along the slopes of the volcano. Enjoy your wine tasting with local and wholesome foods. After that our driver will take you to 1000 m. and then you will walk up to the actual top of the volcano to see the crater. At the top you can enjoy the explanation of a professional tour guide of the National Park or simply peer into the crater on your own. You will admire the peak of Monte Somma (1133 m) and on the right the cone of Vesuvius (1281 m), both separated by a valley, called Valle del Gigante. Vesuvius is majestic and surprising at the same time. It's absolutely worth a visit!
