Zoo Miami is the largest zoo in Florida and is dedicated to animal protection, which is why it hosts numerous species that roam its large spaces. It houses thousands of wild animals in breathtaking environments that will make you feel like you’re on a subtropical excursion. Especially if you’re dressed in safari attire (not required, but highly recommended).
Exploring on foot, you’ll have the chance to feed giraffes, ride camels, and (for the little ones) groom goats and sheep at the Critter Connection. The zoo’s wildlife includes a number of endangered exotic species, such as the Sumatran tiger, the greater one-horned Indian rhinoceros, and the giant river otter.
This being Florida, it gets hot, really hot. So don't forget to pack your bathing suit and make time to visit Playworld.

* Miami-Dade County Employees: $4 off regular adult or child admission for up to six people. Miami-Dade County employees must purchase discounted tickets online through the employee portal.
* Military Members: 50% off regular adult admission for active or former U.S. military personnel and 25% off regular admission for up to six additional guests. Military photo ID required at time of purchase
* Seniors (65 and over): 25% discount on regular admission. ID with date of birth is required at the time of purchase.
* Skip the main ticket lines and show your Zoo Miami ticket on your smartphone at the entrance.
* The food and beverage package (if selected) can be redeemed at participating counter-service restaurants.
