- By car: Cecina is easily accessible via the Strada Statale SS1 Aurelia. If you are coming from the north, you can take the A12 motorway to the Rosignano Marittimo junction and continue on the SS1 to the Cecina Nord exit, then follow the signs for Cecina Mare. From Florence, the journey by car takes about an hour and a half, covering a distance of about 115 km.
- By train : Cecina is served by the Pisa–Rome railway line, with direct connections from several cities. From Florence, trains leave from Santa Maria Novella station and reach Cecina in about 1 hour and 41 minutes. From Milan it is also possible to reach Cecina by train, with a travel time of about 5 hours.
